Experiencing both spectrums of the estate agency world first hand, I have seen fundamental flaws within the industry. On one hand, high street agents focus on volume and ‘getting the job done’, which may compromise service levels. You often find the branch manager or valuer that conducts your valuation is rarely involved once your home is on the market and you are regularly passed around from one inexperienced staff member to the next. On the other hand, the fixed fee online agents are often not incentivised to sell your property because they are paid regardless of selling your home.
From living, working and breathing everything in Essex for several years, I have created and maintained strong relationships with local businesses, solicitors, mortgage advisors and contractors, along with developers and investors.
